on-situ is a digital creation agency, specialized in the design and production of high-end multimedia installations for cultural purposes. Since 2006, we have been working on projects of all sizes in France, Switzerland and internationally, such as: Louvre Lens, Verdun Memorial, Aga Khan Museum in Toronto, ICP New York. Our projects combine artistic creation and technological innovation. They are most often multimedia scenographic spaces, which are integrated into an exhibition route. The subject matter, image, staging, technology and scenography come together around unique creations, designed specifically for a project and a place.
Our organisation is structured in 3 divisions: design (artistic and engineering), production (graphic and technological) and research & development. These divisions interact continuously in order to implement, for each project, the most appropriate form, technology and purpose. Our research and development activity, certified by the Ministry of Research, is based in particular on long-term regional partnerships with the Nicéphore Niépce Museum in Chalon sur Saône, the Centre des Monuments Nationaux de Cluny or the archaeological site of Bibracte.
The permanent team combines the complementary skills of multimedia creation, computer programming and audiovisual engineering. We strengthen it according to the nature of the projects: historian, iconographer, composer, museographer, designer, scenographer and architect, etc. With this vast field of intervention, on-situ is able to fully ensure the creation of a digital experience, from its sketch to its implementation on site.
